Las Vegas Attorney Aaron Lovaas Moderates Presentation of Prominent Panelists at ABA Annual Meeting

Las Vegas, NV ((PRWEB) August 17, 2007 -- The American Bar Association wrapped up its 2007 Annual Meeting in San Francisco on August 14. Attorney Aaron Lovaas, a principal in the Las Vegas law firm of Shimon & Lovaas, A Professional Corporation, assumed the chairmanship of the Solo and Small Firm Committee of the ABA's Section of Business Law's Young Lawyer Forum at that meeting.

In his first task as Chair, Lovaas served as moderator of a panel discussion featuring prominent speakers on the topics of solo and small firm client development, communication strategies, client service, and client satisfaction. Lovaas has the distinction of being the moderator for the first such program ever sponsored and facilitated by the Young Lawyer Forum at an Annual Meeting of the ABA. The large audience present for the two-hour presentation received invaluable tips, techniques and strategies in the panelists' areas of expertise: communication, client service and satisfaction, and client development.

Following the program, Lovaas observed, "Participating in the programming available at an event on the scale of the ABA Annual Meeting provides an important opportunity for me to share ideas and resources with my fellow attorneys, while also generating recognition for the law firm of Shimon & Lovaas and lawyers in Southern Nevada."

While Lovaas' work in the Young Lawyer Forum is a function of the Forum's age criteria (under 40), Lovaas has been practicing law in Nevada for over a decade. He concentrates his practice in the area of business-related litigation. Through his work as the Chair of the Committee over the next year, Lovaas will interact with lawyers throughout the country, and internationally, on topics relevant to business law and the solo and small firm practitioner.
