The five new attorneys at Albright Stoddard are Bonnie Boyce, Joslyn LaMadrid, Sophia Long, Janean Maher and Julie Whitman. The announcement is especially noteworthy because all five attorneys are women, working in the male-dominated profession of the law.

Mrs. Boyce has lectured to student, community, academic and religious organizations on a variety of finance and business law subjects. Boyce has served as an adjunct instructor of Bankruptcy Law in the Legal Assistant Program at Community College of Southern Nevada. In 1990, Mrs. Boyce served as in-house counsel to the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee for Southern Nevada, at which time she drafted the first set of Chapter 13 local rules and form Chapter 13 plan for the District of Nevada, Las Vegas Division.

A native of Okinawa, Japan, Ms. Long has a broad range of talents in civil litigation and complex commercial litigation.
